UIP, jointly owned by Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures, brings many of the most exciting films made today to international cinema audiences. They needed a website refresh and approached Prezence for a solution. Besides providing information on upcoming and current films, the aim of the website was to motivate users to subscribe to the website in order to get access to exclusive content such as behind the camera footage, movie posters, additional trailers etc.
A clean, yet visual design, combined with inventive multimedia Front-end tricks were key to retain the user’s attention. The dark colours add atmosphere to the film-context and create a neutral platform for the large movie posters and other media to do the talking.
