After 8 years of having the same logo, Prezence, SA’s leading mobile development agency, needed a brand refresh. The logo felt old and the company was repositioning themselves to move more toward a strategic & creative development company, and away from a pure develeopment house. I was put in charge of the transition and creation of the new brand and Pierre Smith executed the branding. Deliverables were the logo obviously, all the other print collateral, office renovations and a fun celebration pack for each employee.
The logo’s rationale
‘Presence’ in its simplest form can graphically be represented by a smaller dot within a larger circle in a space. In the final logo, Pierre Smith did exactly that, but added an extra element to it to for a “P” within a circular shape. The circular shape makes the logo friendly and approachable, yet it remains a strong and bold icon.
