Background

Part of Capitec’s sales strategy entails sales personnel approaching large corporates and offering information days where they’d have interactive workshops with employees on topics such as Financial Wellness. These events go alongside competitions where the employees can enter to win either airtime, a positive-balance Capitec bank account or they could get entered into a lucky draw for a grand prize. Print collateral would contain a USSD reference number and the employees use this number to enter into the competition. Bulk SMS’ses are used to communicate with these employees and to notify them of their prizes etc.

The project

Capitec needed a system to manage these projects and approached Prezence for help. The challenge lied in making complex processes seem and feel intuitive and simple for the end user. The app is currently in pilot phase and includes user journeys such as USSD processing, bulk SMS sending, lead capturing and management, event budget management, user management and the allocation of prizes.
